Will play as individuals, no limit on entries. Players will play 4 matches Saturday, game in 60 minutes and 2 matches on Sunday, game in 90 minutes. Team score is the best four players scores added together. Trophies to the top 8 teams, top 10 individuals and medals to any player scoring at least 3.5 points.
Non High School
Players:
Middle and Elementary students are welcome to attend, but will play on a separate team from the High School players and will compete in a separate division, either the K-8 or K-5 Division. The team score is determined by adding the top 4 players scores, so the more players we take, the better our chances. I also would like to encourage some WMS and/or WLC parents to consider accompanying us as chaperones.

Miscellaneous:
On Saturday night players will be able to compete in one of several simultaneous exhibitions, where a master player will play against 30 players at once. The cost is $2 and anyone getting a draw or win against the master will win a medal. Players can also play in the State Bug House Tournament Saturday night (Entry Fee $5 ahead of time, $7 at site). Bug House is a partner chess game, and the tourney will be run by the Waupaca Chess Team. There are also lots of informal games in the lobbies and common rooms on Saturday night. There will also be several chess vendors at the tournament selling boards, pieces, books, software and novelty items.
